Company Directors

Keith Ramsay - Chief Technology Officer

With over 40 years experience in the Satellite Communications Industry, Keith founded Satelink Ltd. in 1993 with the company developing the World’s first Bandwidth on Demand (BOD) Satellite Management System. It was such a success it was sold to EFData Corp (USA) in 1996.

Keith has been responsible for the Design, Build and Commissioning of the 6.2M C-Band Antennas for the RCG Chatham Islands Service.

Consultancy is one of Keith’s other strengths and he has been a Consultant to OPT French Polynesia for Satellite Development, Antarctica NZ for Earth Station Planning, NZDF for Satellite Projects and Vodafone NZ (now ONE NZ).

Keith has worked in senior positions at EFData Corp, PanAmSat and Intelsat all Satellite Industry leaders and was part of the Australia/NZ design team for the Intelsat IS18 Satellite.

As one of it’s founders Keith  has been with Gateway Space Operations since the original company’s inception in 2010
